		The Barbados Challenge 2009 The CSSC South & South East Barbados Challenge is a programme of events leading up to a week of competitions between CSSC and corresponding civil servants in Barbados. Click on the following link to view all of the qualifying events to be held during 2008 – all you or your have to do is win one of them, and then you can fly out to Barbados in the autumn of 2009 (at an advantageous cost, subsidised by your region), and enjoy one of the most beautiful holiday destinations in the world. Wednesday 19 November - Quiz & Ploughman's - 8pm Saturday 22 November - Anniversary Dance - 6T's - 9pm Sunday 23 November - Bingo (£100.00 flyers) - 8pm Friday 28 November - Ticket Sales for New Years Eve 7:30pm onwards £6.00 per ticket Saturday 6 December - Children's Christmas Party - 2 -- 4:30pm Tickets on sale NOW Wednesday 10 December - Quiz & Nibbles - 8pm Sunday 14 December - Christmas Bingo - 8pm
	Regular Activities
		Badminton - please contact Steve Keeble on 01424 711422. Club nights in close season are held in the clubhouse on Mondays and Tuesdays 19.00-23.00 (one court only). Close season runs from May to September. During the season we have men's, ladies and mixed teams in the Eastbourne and Hastings leagues. Home games are played on Monday and Tuesday and therefore club nights on Wednesdays at Helenswood School (on the Conquest Hospital Roundabout). New members, especially those who would like to play league badminton, are needed. 	Facilities
		Bar with comfortable lounge area. The bar is open Monday to Thursday 11:30 - 14:00 and 19:00 - 23:00, Friday 12:00 - 23:00 Saturdays 12:00 - 14:30 and 19:00 - 23:00 Sundays 12:00 - 15:00 and 19:00 - 22:30. Food is available Monday - Friday lunchtimes and Friday and Saturday evenings. Badminton Darts Pool Tables (two) Table Tennis Short Mat Bowls Snooker Table Shove penny and Skittles. Sports hall available for hire by members. Families and friends welcome through Family and Associate Memberships.
